Music Day 2025 – “Once Upon a Song” was held on the 24th of September at Ladies’ College, marking a truly special celebration in honour of our school’s 125th anniversary. Schools from across Colombo joined us for this memorable occasion, filling the day with rhythm, harmony, and joy. The event began with a lively icebreaker, where teams showcased both their creativity and spirit by singing a song while dressing up a model in their team colour. The energy carried forward as our guest speakers, Malinthie De Silva and Sasha Figurado, inspired the audience with insightful reflections on the journey of music through the ages. What followed was a series of exciting, music-themed games that had participants thinking on their feet, creating spontaneous performances, and sparking plenty of laughter. The highlight of the day was the final segment, where each school took to the stage to share their unique musical talent. The hall resonated with music, clapping, and voices joined together, reminding us of the power of music to unite hearts.
