MUN Club Seeds of Change

Seeds of Change: Pot Gardens as Pathways to Zero Hunger was launched in Obeysekarapura, Rajagiriya, on Wednesday, 2nd July. This initiative is part of the SLMUN Ambassador Program, led by the Ladies’ College Ambassadors for SLMUN alongside members of the MUN Society. In collaboration with Panda Farmacy, the team conducted a session on sustainable pot gardening, demonstrating how to grow and maintain vegetables in small urban spaces. Ten families received starter plant kits, marking the first step towards greater food security through vegetable pot gardening. Aligned with SDG 2: Zero Hunger, the project empowers communities to become more self-reliant and environmentally conscious. We thank all those who contributed to this meaningful project.
