58th Inter-district Hockey All Island Championships

Five students from Ladies’ College were selected to represent school in the 58th Inter-district Hockey All Island Championships.
Deanne Rathnayake and Suhanya De Mel were selected to the Colombo Blue team while 3 students – Anya Abhayaratne, Pranali Britto and Yenulie Ahangama – were selected to the Colombo Red team. The Red team beat Wennapuwa to be declared the champions in the girls’ category, winning this match after 20 years. Very well done, everyone!
